Son of legendary Fela Anikulapo Kuti, also a mega star in his own right, Seun Kuti, while contributing has urged Nigerians and particularly entertainers to support TV host, Emma Ugolee in his quest for funds for a kidney transplant.
He took to his Facebook fan page to say that Emma Ugolee was a colleague whose talent should be saved. 
In the same light, Koko master Dbanj demonstrated his concern for Emmanuel who has been a long time friend of his by donating the sum of N1million to the cause. He called Emmanuel a “Good man” who has always supported talent and lamented about the poor health insurance schemes in Nigeria.

A man named Victor Ojiaku has been arrested by the Nigerian police for allegedly beating his wife mercilessly and then stabbing her in her private part with a broken bottle after accusing her of sleeping with sleeping with a teenage boy who works for him.
Ojiaku, an automobile parts dealer, attacked his wife, Faith Ojiaku, 27, a mother of three at their home in White Sand, Isheri-Osun in Lagos State last week. LIB has photos of the stabbed vagina but probably not appropriate to post here

Faith was kept locked up for two days by Victor, making it impossible for her to call any family member or friend for help or seeking medical attention.
When she was eventually allowed to seek medical attention, she used a doctor’s phone to call her sister who the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team, who have since taken up the case.
The man appeared at the Ejigbo Magistrates’ Court last week where he was granted bail and case postponed till end of January. He is also faing charges for attacking his teenage worker who he accused of sleeping with his wife.
He is facing a six-count charge bordering on grievous bodily harm, threat to life and assault.

President Buhari yesterday said the reason he was removed from office in 1985 was because he refused to take an advice from the IMF and the World Bank to devalue the Naira and increase prices of fuel and flour. He said this when he spoke at the Nigerian Army Guards Brigade Regimental Dinner.
“I refused and gave my reasons and the next thing I knew I was removed and detained for three and half years. As a civilian president I will do my best and I’m telling you all these because you are part of the leadership of this great country and God willing we will remain great”he said

Nigerian man, Brown Affah, pretended he was arrested by the Nigerian police  to throw his girl, Effiwatt Yemi, off as he prepared to propose to her. Here is what he wrote as he shared photos from his creative proposal. 
“Breaking News…..!!! Good morning Facebookers This pictures have so many stories behind it, firstly I was sure of the color of clothes she wore to work, black top and blue jeans so I called some of my single friends who are still around after Christmas Kingsley
Asika, Grandeur Chef Wisdom Noble,Woka Richy and my blood Brown Victor to wear same clothes including me and partake in the action movie episode 1$2 while I’ll be acting episode 1 with her, they’ll join in episode 2.

I went to her office and picked her up by 5:43pm, drove her to GRA phase 2 that I wanna buy her shawama which I know she’ll fall for. Meanwhile I’ve given signal to my good police officers that we are on our way without her knowledge. On approaching they flagged us to stop, I cleared they said finally we have caught you, the notorious criminal Brown, i said sorry officer that must be a mistake somewhere… Shut up they shouted, are u not brown? Yes I am I answered, u were involved in a robbery and now we have caught u….. #gunscocked….. My girl was scared but calm, all she said was baby its Ok, lets follow them but I know you are not a criminal.
Cuff them, and they did. Pushed us towards their vans with my girl panting but calm….then I told them I wanna say something, shut up they shouted but the leader asked ; what do u wanna say? So i looked into my lady’s eyes and told her babe; u don’t actually know me well…..so u know them? She asked, yes I know them i replied…. And u know I’ve never said the word; I love you to you because I wanted to be sure I did and tell u on this day i said….
Yes I do love you, and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you I continued , with one knee on the floor….whaaaat she screemed, covered her face and said a big YES with the police men clapping, and passers by clapping and watching….we hugged and the cuffs was removed…. And finally that’s a wrap.

President Buhari yesterday attended the Guards Brigade Regimental Dinner Night at the Guards Brigade Scorpion Mess in Abuja where he received the captured flag of Boko Haram as well as the personal Quaran of Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.
The military on December 23rd, captured the last camp of the sect members in Sambisa forest. There they recovered the Quaran of Shekau as well as the flag for the group. See more pics after the cut…
