32 Year Old Man Faces 25-100 Years In Prison After Raping Girlfriend’s 10 Month Old Baby Who Later Dies In The Hospital

Benjamin Ryan Taylor has been accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend, Amanda Adkins 10 month old baby who later died at the hospital after she was found in the basement with her assaulter.

Emmaleigh Adkins’ mother told police that she found her baby naked, battered and covered in blood after her boyfriend allegedly raped her daughter in the basement while everyone in the house was asleep.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail is reporting that Taylor claims that he took the baby downstairs to the laundry room to change her diaper and then he ‘blacked out’ and couldn’t remember what happened.
The police found many pieces of clothing and blankets covered in blood when they cased the basement. Apparently when the police proceeded to arrest him, Taylor ‘vigorously’ attempted to wipe what is now believed to be the baby’s blood off of his groin area.

Emmaleigh Adkins’family took to their GoFundMe page to announce her death.
“It is with an extremely broken heart to announce that our sweet innocent baby girl’s fight is over She has succumbed to her extensive injuries.” They wrote.
