Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton clash on Russia, women in final debate as GOP candidate won’t commit to accepting election results

Donald Trump refused to promise he'll participate in the peaceful transition of power in the final presidential debate Wednesday, raising the specter that he'll undercut America's most crucial democratic tradition if he goes down in defeat.

"I will look at it at the time. I'm not looking at anything now. I will look at it at the time. What I've seen is so bad," he said onstage in Las Vegas, repeating earlier claims of a "rigged" election blasting Clinton as a crook.

"She shouldn't be allowed to vote. It's crooked. She's guilty of a very, very serious crime. She should not be allowed to run. And just in that respect I say it's rigged," he continued.

Trump refused to back down even when pressed by moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News about whether he'd adhere to the principle of the "peaceful transition of power" that is the glue of democracy.

"What I'm saying is that I will tell you at the time. I will keep you in suspense," Trump warned.
"That's horrifying," Clinton responded. "He is denigrating, he is talking down our democracy, and I for one am appalled that someone who is the nominee of one of our two major parties would take that position."

Clinton pointed out that "every time Donald thinks things aren't going in his direction" he starts complaining about a rigged system from his Iowa caucus loss to attacks on the judge of Mexican heritage overseeing the fraud case against Trump University all the way back to when "The Apprentice" didn't win an Emmy."Should have gotten it," he said with a smirk.
