"Here's a woman, she's supposed to fight all these different things and she can't make it 15 feet to her car. Give me a break," he said at the event in Manheim, Pennsylvania, on Saturday as he mimicked Clinton's stumble.
Trump was uncharacteristically quiet after it was revealed last month that Clinton had been diagnosed with pneumonia just days before she fell ill at the 9/11 memorial. The GOP nominee wished Clinton a speedy recovery at the time, telling Fox & Friends, "Something's going on, but I just hope she gets well and gets back on the trail and we'll be seeing her at the debate."
Trump's new attack on Clinton's health came just as The New York Times reported that he may have avoided paying taxes for 18 years, and as Trump is now trailing Clinton in the polls following what many consider to be a poor performance at the first presidential debate last Monday.
Trump did not address the Times' breaking news report during his Saturday rally. Instead, after physically mocking Clinton, he also questioned her "loyalty" to her husband, former President Bill Clinton.
Trump said Clinton's "only loyalty is to her financial contributors and to herself. I don't even think she's loyal to Bill, you wanna know the truth. And really, folks, really – why should she be, right? Why should she be?"
"Remember," he said minutes later, "He got impeached for lying. You remember what he lied about. But he got impeached for lying."
Trump told The New York Times that he was considering going after Clinton's marriage and her husband's past indiscretions.
"She's nasty, but I can be nastier than she ever can be," Trump said in an interview published Friday. "Hillary Clinton was married to the single greatest abuser of women in the history of politics. Hillary was an enabler, and she attacked the women who Bill Clinton mistreated afterward. I think it's a serious problem for them, and it's something that I'm considering talking about more in the near future."
