The victims — two brothers, ages 24 and 28 — were inside a Planet Fitness Gym on Southern Blvd. in Foxhurst around 10 p.m. Wednesday when one of the suspects began poking fun at one of them as he exited the bathroom.
Pretty soon, the brothers and the suspects began fighting outside.
A few seconds later, one of the suspects screamed out to the other, who pulled a gun and started blasting away, hitting the older brother in the side and the left arm. The younger brother was shot in the right foot.
The two victims jumped in their car and sped off, but once they realized they were bleeding, they pulled over and flagged down a patrol cop.
They were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital with minor injuries.
The two suspects remained at large Thursday.
