We’ve got Thank You mail, guys: Laila’s Blog reader sold a malfunctioning Tecno Droipad 8ii has received a new one!

Last week, we blogged about our reader who was sold a malfunctioning Tecno Droipad 8ii phone at Yes! Mobile store in Lekki and was refused a quick refund or a replacement since 11th January, 2017.

I just received a Thank You mail from our lady, guys. She and her mum have received a new phone from Tecno, four days after we shared her story. Please read below the new mail she sent in:

Goodmorning Laila, 
How are you doing?  I just want to inform you that, Tecno changed the phone yesterday.  

My mum was just called yesterday to go down to the store and we were given a new phone. She was also apologized to. Her story was seen on your blog. The power of social media.
