Boko Haram Blamed For The 613,000 Jamb Board Officials Says

Mr Sanusi Atose has blamed the deadly Boko Haram insurgency for the missing 613,000 Naira missing from the board's office.

Mr Atose has been summoned to appear before the panel set up by Jamb board to investigate the missing money, Mr Ishaq Oloyede the being the Registrar has demand Atose to explain the disappearance of the scratch card amounting to 613,000 or risk losing his job.

According to PREMIUM TIMES, Mr Atose claims that one of the deadly attacks carried out by the group left him to be unable to explain and account for the money. He further said that the teller, invoice and receipts were destroyed during the attack so that left him unable to take proper documentations concerning the sales of the cards.

Professor Oyolede therefore disagreed with Mr Atose, rather he accused him of fraud and requested him to produce the money and pay it back to the board within one week or risk going to jail.

Mr daniel Abor the Kogi state Jamb Co-coordinator will also appear before in connection with the 7 million he claimed he used to help some members of the staff who were ravaging in poverty.

He claimed that most of the scratch cards which was brought to Kogi was stolen by unknown individuals.

Mr Abor while confessing to the crime said the one needs the grace of God not to steal money because money is so tempting and being the we're all dying in poverty so we have steal but he promised that he will make available every single person who is involved in sharing and stealing the money he confessed.

He pleaded with the Jamb board not to take action against him by taking him to the police to be locked up.

Mr Agbor pleaded with the Jamb board that he just had his first baby and also said that most of them are living on loan that is why they got involved in stealing and borrowing from government money without a proper account of the money.

Mr Agbor told the panel about 265,000 which he paid to an unknown account on the instruction of the former Registrar

The Panel told Mr Agbor that his defense was completely unreasonable and untenable particularly professor Oloyede told Mr Abor to pay everything that is within him back to the board and failure to pay within one week he will be handed over to the police for further investigations and possibly prosecution.

The JAMB board has been on media since two weeks now following a report coming from Benue state JAMB office by one Philomena Chieshe who shamelessly claimed that a spiritual snake swallowed 36 million Naira in her custody

According to PREMIUM TIMES, the coordinator of Nassarawa claimed that scratch card worth over 23 million Naira was burnt alongside his car in an accident which he escaped unhurt.

The new Registrar ended the use of scratch cards in 2016 and replaced it with more efficient method like the e-pin which is available today with the help of ATM or better still generate a remitta and head to any nearest bank to you and make your payment then return back to the cyber cafe to make your print-out.
