This is Linda Ikeji the famous Nigerian blogger as a cheerleader 19 solid years ago with her friend Fatima..Accordimg to her she was paid between 3k and 5k per show and that will help her throughout the week as a student in her university days...Here are her exact words as she advices the younger generation.19 years ago as a cheerleader for a 7up sponsored basketball game at National stadium, Surulere. I think they paid us N5k or N3k per day for a two day tournament..and that money served me for a few weeks in university...lol.
Showing this because you young people need to understand that the beginning is always tough, but you need to ride the tide. What determines whether you will be successful later in life is how you persevere and keep fighting. You take the little things until the big things show up and they will if you keep working hard and never give up.
