16-year-old boy commits suicide in front of Midtown subway train

A 16-year-old boy committed suicide by leaping in front of a Midtown subway train at the height of rush hour Tuesday, officials said.
The south-bound A train hit the teen at the 42nd St.-Port Authority Bus Terminal station at about 7:50 a.m., cops said. He died at the scene.

Straphangers saw the troubled teen jump in front of the train as it came into the station, police sources said.
