1. Olamide and Don Jazzy
2016 kicked off with YBNL CEO, Olamide and Mavin’s boss, Don Jazzy throwing shots at each other on the first day of January. The once upon a time good friends wished a happy new year with a beef at the Headies Award show which held at Eko hotel.
The beef was as a result of the award for the next rated category between Marvin’s Reekado Banks and YBNL’s Lil Kesh which was awarded to Reekado. Olamide who did not agree with this took to the stage to shade the award and Don Jazzy called him out in his response on the same stage. Later that night the fight was moved to their social media pages. The feud was ended by Dangote.
2. Linda Ikeji and Wizkid
Linda Ikeji shared a post on her site which implied that Wizkid had been evicted from his Lekki home, this was after breaking the news of his second babymama.
Wizkid who didn’t find this funny, took to social media to blast Linda threatening to send his much younger cousin to beat her up. Linda later reported Wizzy to the police and he apologised.
3. Davido, Babymama and Dele Momodu
A situation of who to have their daughter, Imade in custody which was earlier contained behind closed door found its way to social media after Davido’s father was stopped from taking his granddaughter on a trip to Dubai.
After series of rants between the Momodu’s and Adeleke’s, Davido took the beef to another level when he was featured on Humble Smiths song Osinachi. In the song, he chorused “Mr Dele na my boy, Dele na my boy”
4. Dammy Krane and Wizkid
Top stars, Dammy Krane and Wizkid started their feud after Dammy accused wizkid of intellectual theft. They later trashed themselves when they met at popular Lagos club, Quilox.
Wizkid was alleged to have smashed a glass on Dammy before the intervention of the club owner. The feud was later settled by Obafemi Martins.
