Since some persons accused them of not speaking about those who allegedly looted Nigeria and went to hide abroad, but came out to demand for President Buhar to resume or resign, the movement known as #OurMumuDonDo have decided to take up the challenge.
Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, and others on Monday morning stormed the offices of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja to demand the repatriation of a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke.
Diezani, who served under former President Goodluck Jonathan, is being investigated for a series of multi-billion dollar fraud and money laundering offences in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and America.
Already, the courts in Nigeria had ordered the forfeiture of some properties, linked to the former ministers and believed to have been acquired with stolen wealth, to the federal government.
Diezani’s associates and co-conspirators, Kola Aluko and Jide Omokore, have also been linked to corrupt practices worth billions of dollars, both in Nigeria and abroad.
