Youths and villagers in Owerri have taken up placards, protesting against the ground Breaking Ceremony of 211 Regiment Nigeria Air Force in Owerri. According to them, there was no proper consultation before the ceremony.

The ceremony had the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall SB Abubakar, and the
governor of the State, Owelle Rochas as special guests of honor.
