"This is to notify the public that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has commenced it's registration for the 2018/2019 unified tertiary matriculation examinations (UTME)
"The board of directors of the exam body has announced that the registration would takes place in over eight hundred computer based test (CBT) across the thirty six states of the federation including the FCT, Abuja.
"Dr. Fabian Benjamin the head of media of JAMB said this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja.
"He said that the registration would end by February 2018.
"He also stated it clearly that the board will never post any candidate to any examination town other than the choice made by the candidate on the point of registration.
"Every candidate are advised to try and register early in the exercise in other to get a space before their choice of town are fill up.
"The registration began on 6th of December, 2017 and as at the time of this post so many candidates have posted their names and mobile numbers to 55019 and they've all got their profile ready after they will proceed to the CBT centres for the proper registration.
"From what we've noticed this is one of the best registration ever in recent times as it's hitch free and very easy to register and candidates are advised to do it themselves to avoid falling prey to scammers.
"Candidates are advised to purchase the e-pin using the already available Remita, ATM, Interswitch and other online platform at your own comfort.
"JAMB offices are available to help candidates who encounters any problem while trying to get the e-pin for registration in the 2018/2019 session.
"The board has again shown every commitment in conducting a hitch free examination and also vowed to fight exam malpractice".
