I have been thinking about what might have been the problem of these Hausa/Fulani attacks on the South and I made a personal decision to go into research to find out what the secret is all about and this is what I was able to find out.
Sir Ahmadu Bello And His Personal Thought About The North And South:
It will interest you to know that barley eleven days after Nigeria Independence in 1960, "Sir Ahmadu Bello ,was quoted to have said that this new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grand father, Usman Dan Fadio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power.We use the minorities in the North as winning tools and south as a conquered territory,never allow them to rule over us and never allow them to have control over their future. And the above statement was made by the Sultan, it had continued to serve as a road map for Hausa Fulani politicians, hence they believe that it is their birth right to use any means possible to either reclaim power or prevent non Hausa/Fulani Muslims from ruling over them". And this has led to the subsequent attempt of all the Hausa/Fulani past presidents to Islamize Nigeria, so the current position of the president in the person of Muhammudu Buhari is as a result of the records the past leaders set for the country.
Muhammudu Buhari's View On Sharia In Nigeria.
In a speech which he delivered at a seminar organized by the supreme council of Sharia in Nigeria..Hear what he has to say. "I will continue to show openly and inside me the total commitment to the sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria. God willing ,we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the entire country". With all this I have come to understand what is causing the attacks on the people of Southern Nigeria. My heart sincerely goes out to all the families that has lost their loved ones in this recent attacks by the Hausa/Fulani herdsmen in Benue and other North Central states in Nigeria.
