Paul Pogba praised for Man Utd display by Friday Night Football pundits(Photos)

Pogba was "Powerful". "Brilliant". "Outstanding".
"The real deal". It's fair to say the Sky Sports pundits were impressed with Paul Pogba's second debut for Manchester United.
The world's most expensive footballer played a starring role in the heart of the hosts' midfield at Old Trafford, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic struck twice to see off Southampton.
Here's what Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry, Jamie Redknapp and special guest, Manchester United legend, Ryan Giggs had to say about the Frenchman

Jamie Carragher

"Watching him play was like watching the best kid in the school ground doing whatever he wanted, running all over the pitch. At times that might hurt United, because he's not in the central position to stop a counter-attack. But the ability he's got and the freedom he plays with, he reminds me of a No 10 with the position he takes up, the things he tries when he's got the ball. To see that from a central midfield player is something you don't see that often.
"There's no doubting his talent was on show there."

 Jamie Redknapp
"There would have been a lot of people tuning in today wondering what all the fuss was about with this guy. The dances, the dabs, the Instagram posts… But he showed he's the real deal today. His overall performance - after a week's training - was incredible. I was so impressed with his all-round game.

"Jose Mourinho mentioned how much of the ball he touched and his influence. He covered every blade of grass. Certainly on the left hand side, that's an area he liked to play. It was like men against boys in that midfield. When he gets fit and gets to that next level you can see goals, assists, and him dominating games. In terms of his first game, I'm very impressed."
 Ryan Giggs
"I think the biggest compliment I can give him is that I was watching that game and watching Paul Pogba and I wasn't thinking of £89m. I was just thinking of a player enjoying himself and trying things and expressing himself as the game went on. Yes sometimes things won't come off, but he's trying things and he's releasing himself.
"He was all over the pitch, he wants to get on the ball and it was a brilliant, brilliant performance when you take into consideration he's only trained for a week, the price tag and he's still only 23."

Thierry Henry
"We can look at his stats but the one I like is 11.2km run from a guy who has been in training only for a week. What I got from talking to him was he couldn't wait. He couldn't wait to go out there. I think that's why Mourinho didn't sub him, he was enjoying it. Tonight I thought he was brilliant. I thought he had a man of the match performance - although obviously Zlatan got it by scoring two goals.
