Leicester City is still basking the glow of their
unprecedented title
triumph last season and the rewards are still rolling in. Members of the
title winning side were each rewarded with a BMW i8 worth exactly
£104990.
A fleet of 19 protonic blue BMW I8s - which cost a total of £2million were seen outside the club's King Power Stadium.
The
cars are understood to be gifts from chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha
to the players following their stunning Premier League title victory
back in May. The billionaire businessman had promised each member of the
playing squad a standard car worth about £30K following their title
triumph but he apparently changed his mind and decided to spoil them
with these smart cars
