Ice Cube And VH1 Team Up For ‘Hip Hop Squares’

According to Deadline, VH1 and Ice Cube have partnered up for a new game show called, “Hip Hop Squares”.
The show is a spin on the classic game show, “Hollywood Squares”, where contestants are asked questions and they must answer correctly to get three X’s or O’s in a row, as in the game tic-tac-toe.
However, in this version celebrity contestants will match wits and be tested on their knowledge of pop culture with the superstar squares. Some of the biggest names in entertainment, comedy and hip-hop will appear on the show.

Ice Cube will executive produce through his Cube Vision Production Company along with Jesse Collins Entertainment and Jeff Kwatinetz’s The Firm producing.

Ice Cube said, “’Hip Hop Squares’ is going to be fun and spontaneous; unlike typical game shows, viewers should never know what’s going to happen next. When VH1 asked us to join the producing team, we jumped aboard as we have had success with VH1, and we love their team, excitement and commitment to the show.”
