STONEY ALBUM REVIEW

Stoney is the debut studio album by American rapper, singer , songwriter, record producer, and musician Austin Ricard Post popularly known as “ Post Malone”. It was released December 9, 2016.

It consists of 18 tracks with notable features like Justin bieber, 2 chains , Quavo  (Migos) and my very own female rookie of the year Kehlani who by the way dropped her first album on the 27 of January 2017 (fingers crossed).

The album consists of songs of different genres like hip hop Rnb and electronic music which is no small feat to combine collectively in a single album which showcases his talent and his ability to carry listeners along with smooth vocals, rich flows and fairly acceptable lyrics which sometimes can be awe inspiring  like in the first release off the album “ White iverson” which was a reference to the great Nba player Allen Iverson who never won a championship ring but worked really hard to get one.

Malone even showed the emotional side of himself with “Fall apart” talking about heartbreak and other mushy stuff and droped an all time hustler anthem with “Go flex” which a lot of listeners will agree is one of the tracks worthy to grace the playlist of any lover of good music with its country/trap style which I said earlier showed his creative side and musical flexibility.
