Immediate past Director-General of NAFDAC, Dr. Paul Orhii, has survived a vehicle accident along the Lafia-Abuja Road. It was confirmed that an oncoming Madza Saloon car lost control and crashed into the SUV Dr. Othii was riding in, forcing it off the road into a deep ravine by the roadside.
Fortunately, the immediate past Governor of Benue State, Gabriel Suswam, arrived at the scene of the accident just minutes after it occurred.
He mobilised assistance and rushed Orhii to hospital for medical checks, after which they proceeded home to Abuja. Orhii was travelling back after attending a wedding party.
