A footage showing a man being brutalised by police in Edo State is trending. The clip which appeared to have been recorded from a car shows about five policemen administering some form of punishment to the man who could be seen on the floor beside the police truck.
The man wore a white tee shirt a pair of jeans trousers and red tennis shoes. The source who shared the clip said the policemen brutalize him for dressing well, claiming he’s a Yahoo Boy.
“Just because he dressed nice walking on the road on his own, he is now a suspect. #YOU ARE NOW A YAHOO BOY, I PUT IT TO YOU!!!” Ignatius St Michael who posted the video on Instagram wrote.
