Lady Arrested Among Suspected Killers of Nigerian Lawmaker

Some suspects have been arrested in connection with the abducting and murdering of Taraba state lawmaker, Hosea Ibi and Mr Chidebere, who was later released.

Honourable Hosea Ibi was abducted by gunmen on December 31st, 2017, and later found dead by the roadside in Takum LGA of the state on Monday, January 15th. He was said to have been killed by the kidnappers after a ransom of N35 million was paid.
The suspects were arrested by troops of 23 Brgd deployed to Wukari on EX AYEM AKPATUMA and a team of Department of State Service from Jalingo.

The suspects are Jaka Ejukun (24years), Peter Isaga (33years) and Arachukwu Bedforth (21years).

A raid was again carried out on Sunday 25 February 2018 by the combined team of own troops and Department of State Services in Gbise, Kastina Ala LGA, leading to even more arrests. 

The suspects; Isaiah Suwe (23 years) a Tiv by tribe from Lessel Ushongo LGA of Benue State, Amadu Barnarbas Torva (aka Atamanin) (23 years) from Gbise Kastina Ala LGA of Benue State, Aondi Teroo (21 years), Nengenen Mbaawuaga Damian (22 years), Aondoase Kayitor (18 years) and Ternenge Tersoo (19 years), were arrested during the raid.
Altogether a total of 9 persons have been arrested in connection to the murder of the Taraba lawmaker.
