Flamingoes arrive in Jordan ahead of U-17 World Cup

Players and coaches of Nigeria’s U-17 women national team, have touched down in Jordan on Tuesday, ahead of the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
The delegation left Abuja aboard an Emirates Airline flight on Monday night.
The 32-man contingent is made up of 21 players, 9 officials, NFF Assistant Technical Director, Abdulrafiu Yusuf and Head of Women Football, Ruth David.
They were received by Head of Chancery of the Nigerian Embassy, Abdulhamid Aminu and the Communications Officer, Ernest Orogun.
The players and officials later left for Le Royal Hotels and Resorts, Amman where they are lodged.
Nigeria, who have made it to the quarter-finals three times, will take on Brazil in their first match on October 1. Their next two group games will be against Enfland and Korea DPR.
